Oliver Tuck
OwnerBefore taking a leap of faith and starting Oliver Tuck Construction with his wife in 2017, Ollie had done his fair share of time in the construction industry. Beginning at the age of 17 as a labourer for what is now a well known high-end residential construction company, Ollie soon discovered his love for the work and progressed from labourer to apprentice. After completing his apprenticeship Ollie moved to London on an O.E and continued working in the construction industry, moving into project management running high-end renovations. Once he returned to New Zealand, Ollie began work for the same company he had completed his apprenticeship with, this time as a project manager working on projects in Auckland and Northland.
Ollie enjoys the challenging stages of the build, when he and the team are working on an element that is going to make the build special whether it is erecting structural steel, pouring large concrete slabs or installing joinery. Seeing his client’s reaction when their dream home is finished is special too, when the team reveals the quality of finishing and the touches that make the build unique.
