Nick Findlay
Project ManagerNick started his career as an apprentice in Hamilton, New Zealand, working for a family owned specialist builder. He cut his teeth on a renovation of a 100 year old home on the banks of the Waikato River and then moved on to new builds in rural areas of the Waikato. Nick relocated back home to Whangarei in 2008 to be closer to family, and took a role with a premium housing company where he finished his apprenticeship in 2010. Nick has since gone out on his own and contracted to a local company and completed a lot of work under his own name too.
Having been involved in the construction industry from the early age of 13 working during school holidays for builders, Nick’s favourite part of the industry is the variety of different people included on projects. From the local barista making the team coffees to the architects, site works teams and the clients; having a range of people involved in a successful project is a great end result.
Nick’s favourite project at Oliver Tuck Construction is the recent job at Waipu Cove.
